The Secret that could Save Zeus

Bounded to the cliffs of Mount Caucasus, Prometheus would endure a millennia of torture, yet Zeus had only feared one thing more than the Titan's defiance: his knowledge. Prometheus, known for his foresight, possessed the prophecy to undo the might of Olympus itself. Despite Zeus's torment, he demanded to know the secret that Prometheus withheld. No fire, thunder, nor eagle, would break his will.

In last desperation, Zeus had agreed that if Prometheus revealed the prophecy, his punishment would end. He would go on to warn Zeus to never marry Thetis, and rather wed a mortal hero, Peleus. Revealed from this truth, Prometheus saved Zeus's throne, and in doing so, fulfilled the prophecy, potentially granting his freedom.
